Here I am back in Shanghai after exploring another piece of Asia, Japan. And as usual I came back with a great desire to put something in the oven. Something autumnal, despite the more than summer temperatures that still make us sweat. And so here is a fast and delicious apples galette!
Ah, the crumble cake … soft, moist and that crunchy crumb that makes you cut the second slice – just a little one, eh? – to taste it again.
I started with the idea of making an apple pie, but then I saw these cookies from Mary and I changed the program definitely. Much better than they may seem, at a first distracted look. They are spectacular, as someone told me after tasting them! And it’s true …
Let’s start this month of delium culinary with a simple apple cake. Soft, moist, scented. Where the longest and most boring parte in its realization is to pell off and cut the apples 🙂
