even alone they’re a problem: when I eat them pratically I don’t breathe between one and onother and until I have them under my nose I can’t stop. In front of them no control… You can imagine when the strawberries are with the chocolate!  Maybe in a soft, moist, high cake, with many yogurt… I could live of breakfast and tea time! I stolen this recipe from Virginia, owner of Il gatto paticcione.
So let’s try this wonder: without difficulties and really delicious, it will be well welcome at any time! And in my mind I have already a raspberry version 😉

Strawberries, yogurt and chocolate cake
Ingredients for a 24 cm pan:

4 eggs
250 g powdered sugar
250 g plain yogurt
150 ml seeds oil
40 g unsweetened cocoa powder
300 g flour
60 g corn starch
16 g baking soda
a pinch of salt
150 g dark chocolate
200 g fresh strawberries

Clean the strawberries and chop them in pieces. Set apart. Chop up roughly the chocolate and set apart too.
In a bowl beat the eggs with the powdered sugar for a few minutes, then add yogurt and oil. Now add the dry ingredients sifted together and mix. Add the chocolate and pour the batter into the greased and floured pan. Now distribute the strawberries all over the surface and bake at 175°C for about 50-60 minutes.
Let cool down before serve.
