150 g di farina

1 cucchiaino di lievito vanigliato in polvere

3-4 cucchiai di rum

100 ml di vino bianco

Mescolate e aggiungete a filo il vino bianco.
Montate gli albumi a neve con un pizzico di sale (io non monto mai gli albumi con il sale, è scorretto! Lo ho aggiunto alla ciotola con la farina) e aggiungeteli delicatamente agli altri ingredienti, mescolando dal basso verso l’alto.
Scaldate abbondante olio in una padella per friggere e scaldatelo su fiamma vivace. Quando sarà pronto immergete con una pinza le fette di arancia nella pastella, scolatele un po’ e tuffatele nell’olio bollente.
Cuocerle pochissimi minuti, finchè saranno dorate, girandole a metà cottura. Poi scolarle e adagiarle in un piatto foderato con carta assorbente.
Servire tiepide, a piacere spolverate con zucchero a velo.
- 3 oranges
- 100ml white wine
- 150 g flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 80 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3-4 spoon rhum

Clean and cut the oranges in 7-8 mm thick slice. Put them on a plate and wet with rhum and sprinkle with 30 g of sugar. Sift flour and baking powder in a bowl. Add egg’s yolks and stirr, then add wine little by little. Beat egg’s white into snow and add lightly to the dough. Warm up oil for frying. Take orange slices and dunk it into the batter, then immerse them into the oil. Fry for few minutes, until they are golden, then put over blotting paper. Serve cooled down with powderd sugar if you like.
